Macadamia oil is a type of oil that is derived from the nuts of the macadamia tree. It is a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), specifically oleic acid. MUFAs are considered to be healthy fats that can help reduce inflammation, lower cholesterol levels, and improve heart health. But did you know that macadamia oil also has amazing beauty-promoting properties?

Check out these AMAZING beauty perks of using macadamia oil: 👇

HYDRATION: Macadamia oil is easily absorbed by the skin and hair, making it an excellent moisturiser. It helps to hydrate and nourish dry, damaged skin and hair, leaving it soft and smooth.

ANTI-AGING: Macadamia oil is rich in antioxidants, which can help protect the skin from free radical damage and prevent premature aging. It also contains palmitoleic acid, which is naturally found in youthful skin but decreases as we age. By applying macadamia oil topically, you can help restore this important fatty acid to your skin.

HEALING: Macadamia oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated or inflamed skin. It also contains squalene, which is a natural component of human sebum (the oily substance that lubricates and protects our skin). By applying macadamia oil to your skin, you can help replenish your natural oils and promote healing.

We think macadamia oil is pretty incredible, don't just take our word for it though! A recent Noakes Foundation study that our processor Green Farms contributed towards, revealed some remarkable health benefits of incorporating macadamia oil into a balanced diet.

Over 8 weeks, 60 participants were divided into three groups, with 20 participants adding Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, or Macadamia Oil to their diets. The results were nothing short of remarkable.

This study found that incorporating macadamia nut oil in a balanced diet can have various health benefits such as reducing cholesterol levels, lowering inflammation, and potentially decreasing the risk of chronic diseases. These positive effects can be attributed to the different compounds found in macadamia nuts such as fiber, polyphenols, and flavonoids. Overall, including macadamia nut oil in your daily diet not only helps manage cholesterol and glucose levels but also provides cardioprotective effects and may prevent future lifestyle diseases.
